Brittany Mathes is currently a doctoral student in the Anxiety and Behavioral Health Clinic at Florida State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Miami in May 2013. After graduation, she worked for two years as the research coordinator for the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital, where she coordinated multiple studies investigating mechanisms of change in the treatment of severe OC-spectrum disorders. Her research primarily focuses on transdiagnostic risk and maintenance factors of anxiety and OC-spectrum disorders, as well as the development of novel interventions that can be used to treat and prevent anxiety-related psychopathology.
