Taking Steps Forward: An Experiential Workshop for Managing Hoarding and Clutter

Workshop participants will be invited to interact with the presenters and each other while applying specific treatment skills to address hoarding and cluttering behaviors. Experiential activities include motivational enhancement, goal setting, changing beliefs about possessions, harm reduction strategies, sorting and discarding, and non-acquisition.

Christiana Bratiotis, Ph.D., LICSW is an Assistant Professor at Portland State University School of Social Work. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy at Boston University in the interdisciplinary Social Work and Sociology program. Dr. Jordana Muroff is an Associate Professor at the Boston University School of Social Work, Clinical Practice Department and is a licensed social worker with extensive clinical experience.
