Using Telehealth/Videoconferencing in the Treatment of OCD

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Telehealth/videoconferencing technology is one way to improve access to quality care for OCD for those who are not able to find experienced local providers. This panel will be led by professionals who have significant experience in providing treatment for OCD using telehealth. We will briefly discuss our experiences and discuss factors that may or may not make telehealth a preferred treatment choice. We will review unique challenges that may arise during exposure and response prevention and medication management telehealth sessions (such as difficulty doing certain exposures with therapist, for example), and discuss ways in which these challenges can be addressed. The majority of time will then be dedicated to question and answer/interactive discussion.
