23rd Annual OCD Conference

OCD Storytelling is NOT about telling stories describing OCD. Rather, it is about telling stories about life, and then applying the lessons embedded in those stories towards one's understanding of OCD, its impact, and its treatment. Dr. Allen Weg will read stories to participants, and then ask them to share their perceptions of how each story represents certain aspects of their personal experience of the disorder and/or its treatment. This year's stories will focus on the themes of Trust and Acceptance. We encourage (but do not require) participants to join Dr. Weg in coming dressed in bedtime clothing. We are looking to create a warm, cozy and intimate environment that at once will be fun, educational and compelling, and will serve to help build a shared sense of community. Fuzzy slippers are optional.
