Many people living with BDD experience deep feelings of shame and are often quite isolated, never meeting others who also have the disorder. Each year the IOCDF offers this rare opportunity to meet with people who truly understand the suffering — other people who also have BDD. This group is a safe, non-judgmental environment where people are encouraged to share their concerns, and to provide support to others in need. It is open to both people who have BDD as well as family members and concerned others.
